This is a UPS..it has its own battery backup (unlike an inverter + battery combo)

If you read the description of this product on its official website (specifically here) its written "Battery Selection Mode Switch" which implies this UPS is designed to work with both/either internal or external batteries. So it depends on the user if they need more backup, they can attach an external battery.
Still as mentioned above, its best to confirm once with their customer support (they have their no. mentioned on their website:))

battery definitely not included. now a days inverter is also called home ups because they included feature of ups as well. battery is always separate in devices with such high power rating.
