At these price ranges, try to look for machine with dryer. It will give out cloths that are fully dry and wringle free. It will cost more but worth it. I dont own one and is looking in market. Options are few in India. Relatives have it abroad.

doubtful if even for 30000-32000, Bosch would be selling a non India made machine with dryer function.
Yes, in the west it is a commodity and hence easier to find and even at a lesser price point. (By lesser, I mean like how the cost of avocado there is hardly as much as papaya cost here, but of good quality avocado).
I think the Koreans and Panasonic do have some reasonable options. Although i might be confusing between south-east Asia (Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam) and here.
Unless one lives near coastal areas or somewhere like Meghalaya, the machines with 1200rpm in the final spin cycle too do a reasonably good job.
Cotton would dry out during the day (even without dryer function) and synthetics usually come out of the machine with barely any moisture. They too dry out within a few hours.
But yes, most auto-cycles or presets usually only take the 800rpm or so.
Dryer function models i did not even find that easily in Tata/Croma, Reliance, Lotus type physical outlets. So you are right about those not being popular here.
