It is not Dual active phone it is a dual standy phone, so there is only one receiver for data irrespective of sim slots

In short:

1. If you use 3G on first sim, second sim will be on 2G network/vice versa
2. If you receive call on first sim, the second sim will not receive any calls/vice versa

How is Spice service?

My display has gone black.. no physical damage.. shall I give it to the service center for repair? FK is not honoring the exchange as the item is not in stock with the same seller.. I got just one day to decide, either take a refund of 2800 or give it to the service center for repair (hopefully free of cost). Service center says it may take 20-25 days to get the repair done.

If its a defective device, it will throw some kind of problems every now and then even if repaired
If the screen went blank, the problem might be with the motherboard or the display
You should go for refund

Even my device display went blank, i almost thought that device is dead was preparing for returning it but actually its completely discharged
After charging it for 5-10min it switched on
It doesnt immediately turn on when plugged in after fully discharge, it takes some time

Yes, I stay in Mumbai.
I was told that the handset will be sent to Pune for repair and it will take around 25 days to get it back.

As @getready suggests, you may go for a refund. You can’t afford to leave your mobile with them almost all through its lifetime.

check if your mobile is charging when connected, if it is then a reset will fix the issue
and also check with another USB cable and another pc

It happened with me too. But was resolved by the following :-
1. Go to settings
2. Turn USB mass storage off and choose normal charging one
3. Then restart
4. Turn USB mass storage mode on..

It should solve. This is some kind of bug. If it doesn’t work ping me. I will try to solve it.

For stock, its basically on unless he modified something
Settings > USB computer connection > Select Media Device (MTP)

Yes, charging when connected. But PC says USB Device Not Recognized. Have never been able to connect to PC since I bought this. Now I want to transfer some music files to MSD card but am not able to. Does not work on any PC with any cable.

About reset, should I select backup and reset to have all the settings and apps restored the way it is now?
