Any idea how much space is free after installing CM 12 and normal GApps?
This phone has low internal space. After upgrading to Lollipop and Apps updates only 400 MB space is free

It would have been gimmick trick by flipkart to sell

Instruction
1) Custom Recovery (Philz, CWM, TWRP etc)
2) Full Unroot is required for rooted users
3) Backup your current rom and data

You should root and remove the stock apps which you don’t need. I have done that and regained 1.7GB space.

Batt life is great for me. SOT around 3hours. I’m on Lollipop

Guess its a fair deal.

But, Can anyone tell me how to ROOT it without using Windows?
I am on a Mac. Does kingroot do it from device directly?

Yes, Simply install the kingroot app and ur done (no need for PC)

It’s there on zopper. I got from Micromax official store in Gurgaon.
Amazon price 5800. Zopper price 5800. Good match.
But 4 GB model is cheaper. Amazon 4999/- but it isn’t available in store.

It was referral and reverse referral money plus mydala coupon. U can easily get at 4300 though.

Updated to LMY48K yesterday.

A small issue I noticed after update… The battery/sim signal bar at the top does not hide even after I get into ES File Explorer to view images. This way the settings pull down mark at the top of the image gets hidden behind the bar. This was not the case before the update, though.

better to install minimal gapps.. then uninstall updates and restore to factory version those gapps you dont need ( like google+)
