There is no app for sam buds on the appstore, any other android phone (and android no need for samsung, i use on sony) you can download the app, it's also there for windows.
If you want to seamlessly switch between devices the app is a must, also for controlling/switching ANC and ambient mode you need the app.
It works on iphone and AW but they'll work as generic earbuds, you cant change the ANC and Amby mode while it is connected to iphone, you have to connect it to windows or android, select anc or amby then disconnect and then reconnect to iphone. Also you miss out on the seamless switch on iphones.
