Jio has announced a new Freedom Offer on its JioAirFiber plans. Jio is offering a 30 per cent discount on the installation of a JioAirFiber broadband connection by waiving off the Rs 1,000 installation charge. However, there is a little more to the offer that you should know about. The offer is valid only for new users. This means that if you are an existing JioAirFiber user and you buy a new plan or upgrade to another one, you are not eligible for the offer. The 30 per cent discount that Jio is offering is only a waiver of the Rs 1,000 installation charge and applies exclusively to new users. Having said that, if you have only made a booking for JioAirFiber right now and the broadband has not been installed for you yet, then you are also eligible for the offer.
Jio has also said that the Freedom Offer will be valid only for a limited time. The offer is available starting July 26 and will be available until August 15.
With the 30 per cent Freedome Offer, Jio’s 3 month JioAirFiber plan, which usually costs Rs 2121 for the plan and Rs 1,000 for installation, which is a total of Rs 3121, will cost Rs 2121 until August 15.

This also comes with set top box. Any idea about it? Is it the same as tatsky or local cable? I am guessing TV will also work via internet? Watching tv will get deducted from 1000GB data? Can anyone please share details. I am thinking for buying this for my mom and ask her to disconnect local cable

"Airfiber" is not reliable. Get her any proper wired broadband and a firestick. Then you can share your OTT subscriptions with her.

I have been using Jio Airfiber for 1 month. My review
- Very bad interest connection, due to this manytimes in office meetings also faced screen share issues.
- Due to this internet, tv channels also keep on buffering. (Which means sometimes even 1MB also not coming)
- Start maa movies channel not found in jio air fiber.
- All channels will play from different OTTs, so channel guide is not proper, especially for parents difficult to change channels. Now every time my parents are using voice based channel search which is not good.
I have done the recharge for 3months. I planned to switch to normal DTH. And for internet normal 5G data from mobile.
(Mobile 5G data is very very far better than JIO airfiber data speed)
