I am using hostinger premium. It is pretty good. Just buy a 4-year plan for maximum savings.
I bought a 2-year plan, because I was not sure if it will be good enough. But it is better than my previous webhost.

You can check Namehero, but they do not have server in India. I got Hostinger cloud start-up at ₹9000 for 4 years.

A good deal if you have already decided to go with Hostinger for your hosting needs.
But... Namecheap is way better than hostinger..both in terms of service, and customer support.
Also...Hostinger.com has better service compare ro Hostinger.in
Other much better hosting companies are offering better discount, try searching Bluehost and Namecheap (I recommend them..Good Experience).

2. Was their hosting plans cheaper than Hostinger's? (shared hosting plans)
3. (Optional): Do they give any discounts on renewal?
I have been using Hostinger from last 2-3 years (both, domain & web hosting). I actually really liked their intuitive interface + service + support. But in recent times, their CS quality seem to have gone down.
And, they also give some 5% discount on renewal which i am not sure if others also do.
