Voted Up! I have no clue why this deal isn't hot. It is the lowest price ever, as far as I know. It is a Google and a Pixel. The camera itself will blow most phones out of water.
People read too much into reviews. I suppose most complain about the battery life . This a rather compact phone. It is geared towards light to moderate users which I would say are people with less than 3 hrs of total screen on time in a day (including phone calls). Gamers, full day 5G data-on, heavy OTT consumers/social media addicts, and all of those addicted to SuperVOOC, WARP, DASH and whatnot charging are not the target audience for this phone. Other common complaint with any and all Pixels and a lot of Samsungs is the Exynos processor and "It runs so hot". Again, moderate users are unlikely to notice this. And most phones, even those that cost over a lakh will become hot if you do HD video recording or lot of high-res photos quickly.
We have a Pixel 6a at home and I am super impressed by how fast the apps runs on it despite the entire storage being used! I love its compact size as well which is actually smaller than 7a. Nowadays you need to pay for a Galaxy S to get a compact phone in the Android world.
I do not see any competition from a Samsung at this budget or even at a Rs 35k budget. If you are looking for a phone and this suits you budget go for it.

camera overall is way ahead of the competition, true. Software is sublime, as long as phone doesn't heat up, and it happens more often than one can possibly imagine. Now other than these two, everything else is pure sh!t. Battery, network strength all. It's a privilege to see some realmi or cheap samsung phone able to retain data in choppy areas when your 3 times costly phone is just dead. I can never use another phone because of the camera, but those who don't care about it, please stay far away from pixels, your life will be hell especially if you have to roam around many places across the country
