Firstly you should have received the offer email from AU Bank to be eligible for the offer. So even if you sign up for account now, you will not be eligible for the offer.
Secondly, not every educational institution allows you to pay by Credit card for free. They will charge some fees usually 0.85% + GST. If you are one of the lucky ones, then this offer is good for you.
