@admin @priyanka it would REALLY help, if the system that auto-fetches, auto-selects the meta-data (for deals), is less buggy.. if not totally wrinkle free

A topic (deal) that I created earlier in the day, got filed (by the automated system) under BigBasket store, EVEN THOUGH I am dead certain that the initial link in my postvwas/is a "jiomart" link.
I am still at my wits end, trying to figure out if I can fix that anomaly.

now I stumbled upon THIS topic, following through on a comment by @bhawin elsewhere,
and again.. I see that the system has filed this under categories like "kitchen appliances", "electronics"😖.

seeing as I do.. in the URL it has words like 'gits' 'medu vada',
i am taking a calculated guess,
that the topic creator would NOT have posted links of any electronics, kitchen appliances as the first link in their main post.

Also, (to me, it seems) unlikely that the person mistakenly posted a wrong link first and then edited it.

If my assumptions are right, then the system is flawed.
(in my case, for the jiomart nirlon casserole deal, even the auto-fetched image.. was not of the product. i did address that issue myself though, albeit at the cost of added effort, time.)

yes, I am aware that the deal posters might be able to similarly rectify the mistakes, errors iof the system (in assigning the wrong category to a deal), however that is besides the point.

Maybe no system can always be 100% wrinkle free, perfect. But (I feel) thst should not discourage one from trying (to make it perfect).

It seemed like a topical issue, not necessitating a separate topic in the feedbacks section, hence I am ranting here.
(Actually I am also too.lazy to motivate myself to start a topic for this or to look for an existing one, where I xpuld rant in the feedbacks section.)
