Why would anyone opt for this crap option anyway?

1. You don’t know how well the person is gonna ride the bike/scooter. Its a direct high risk. Chances of accident of a two wheeler scooter are quite higher when a pillion is sitting, simply because most people are not able to balance the bike/scooter in traffic with extra weight on it. And god forbid in case of any accident, the amount of damage directly to our body will be quite more.

2. Its summer time now. Why go through all that sweat, heat and pollution just for saving a few bucks?

Only in rare cases, like on roads where cabs or autos cannot go, or if your destination is very near but cab may get stuck in traffic, this might be helpful. I agree it’d also be cheaper than auto or cab, but still, the risk & problem it poses it higher than the money saved.

You should always save your money, whenever you get a chance, but smartly, not stupidly.
