Mine was a short-tempered father who badly beat and locked up his children and was always angry and abusive and said no for everything, insulted about everything, let alone appreciating my success, threatened to throw me out when I had real problems and trashed me to his friends and relatives. Has a huge ego too.

Anyway, I can still name a few good qualities though:

1. Good taste in music, accomplished keyboard player
2. Behaved this way only towards me and my sister, but towards my mom, his parents and his sisters (my aunts), he was OK
3. Expertise in chemistry
