I don’t know why you guys give such importance to a thrifty 100 bucks coupon on eBay wasting a new mobile number registration when diwali is round the corner and there will be better deals that time for new email account with new mobile number.
Same thing lot many guys did with ebay’s sankalp uncle where he got undue attention and prominence on DD for absolute chindi stuff.

1. Has ebay given mind blowing deals last diwali?
2. Sankalp deals are good. They never disappointed me.

I don’t have a relative running a mobile shop. So iI need to visit the shop with photo (Rs. 5) + voter card and light bill for address proof (Rs 2) fill the form and pay the fellow 100 bucks for FRC.
Total cost Rs. 107 + Rs 10 on phone calls to shop owner pestering him to submit the papers.
Find a spare mobile to put in the Sim card and wait for 2 days with the phone in pocket where ever iI go awaiting verification call and give the same address as on form. Then open a new Gmail account.
So after 3 days of trouble get to use it for opening a eBay account for a 100 bucks off offer??
Is there a shortcut you have found? For me there is no benefit since the savings goes in the first recharge itself. The real beneficiary is the mobile shop owner who gets some 300 bucks for Sim activation.

LOL didn’t understand the logic… Instead of 100 spend 65 on FRC but spend 30 bucks on petrol and wait in line at store for 30 min. And I have not encountered any store which give activated Sim over the counter that too without docs.
Boss the logic is efforts and money required for getting a Sim started and wasting it on a pretty useless 100 bucks offer. The Sim cannot be used again on eBay for opening another account for the special offer.
Leave those cheap buggers dude. Most of these persons have probably 50 or more SIM cards which they bought from the nearest Xerox shop or panwala. Documents, waiting, 100 rupees, those words are irrelevant to them.
