Higher than the maximum permissible levels of Aflatoxins found in 2 tests conducted several months apart by Unbox Health? (8 times higher!) and Trustified last year. Safolla failed as well.

This is exactly my point! If a product claims to be 100% natural, with no preservatives, like this peanut butter priced at just ₹199, it raises serious doubts. Good-quality peanuts cost around ₹200/kg, and when you factor in processing costs, how is such a low price even possible? It's clear that the peanuts they source may not be of good quality. Peanuts are already risky as they grow underground and are prone to Aflatoxins, which are highly dangerous.

I’ve personally experienced this—once I forgot about some raw peanuts for a couple of months past their expiry, and even though they seemed fine initially, when I roasted and split them, I found fungus inside. This shows how critical it is to ensure peanut quality. Big brands often skip scrutiny on the source of their ingredients, and this is the loophole—they could be using expired or low-grade peanuts, grinding them into products, and selling them under the guise of affordability. Cheap peanut butter  should be avoided at all costtt!
