OP forgot to highlight a key feature of this monitor - it has a USB-A hub in-built with 4 USB A ports which means you can connect mouse, keyboard, phone charger and a pen drive all at once. 2 USB-A ports are just below the front.
You do need to connect one USB cable between the laptop / desktop and the monitor for the USB hub to work besides the HDMI cable for the video signal.
If you have got money to spend, look for a USB-C hub with 60-90W Power Delivery (PD) which will let you skip the laptop charger and the HDMI cable too - just one power cable for the monitor and one USB-C to C cable between the laptop and monitor.
