I think you’re missing the point. I didn’t say ban the user completely. I said restrict their right to suggest deals. If suggestions don’t play any part in the process, then what’s the point in having them?

Yes they are .my observation if a deal to be promoted to front page it should have at least one suggestion and deal will not be moved to front page if admin thinks not worth even it has 5 suggestions.

If you had followed the conversation which happened few days back, the admins claimed they miss out on such deals because normal users like us didn’t vote up and suggest those deals. That clearly implies that suggestions do help.

Coming back to my comment, it was merely a suggestion from my end. I don’t why you’ve to get so riled up especially since you’re claiming suggestions don’t play any part and admins decide whether a deal should become FPD or not. In that case, it should make no difference to you whether such a rule is implemented or not. Are you not confident about the deals you’re going to post? Do you think no one other than your team members are going to suggest your deals?

I tell you, even if i post a deal, its a human tendency that it should be promoted to Front Page. But unfortunately all deals cannot be promoted. On the contrary. it may contain a product which is obsolete or not worth the price. While deciding upon a deal, there are many factors involved. Better leave all this to the management. They certainly will do the best at their end.
