Terms & Conditions for Spin the Wheel Gamification Campaign

This campaign is open to all new members who sign up for Cathay Membership during the campaign period.
Existing members are not eligible for this campaign.
The campaign will run from 6th December 2024 to 20th December 2024.
Spin the wheel & Sign up for a new Cathay Membership account during the campaign period to win your reward.
Spin the wheel to win a prize. However, Cathay does not guarantee prize/s each time upon spinning the wheel and the game of Spin the wheel is based on chance and Cathay has no control over it. The participants who play the game agree and acknowledge that this is a game of chance and winning any prize/s are based on chance. The participants/new members undertake not to challenge/dispute and/or raise any claim/actions against Cathay upon their failure to win prize/s.
The parties agree that this is a one time game and once a participant wins a prize, the participant shall not be entitled to play the game again and Cathay shall not be obliged to allot the participant the prize/s won in the event it is found that the participant has played the game more than once after winning the same. Cathay reserves its right to forfeit multiple prize/s won by the Participant/s.
The prizes available for the Spin the wheel game will be clearly displayed on the game screen. The detailed reward structure is given below:
Prizes include flight discounts, Miles worth flight ticket, or Miles worth gift vouchers & Bonus Miles.
Miles earned through the Spin the wheel game will be credited to the participant’s account within 14 days after the end of the campaign period. To claim a reward, participants/members will need to click the corresponding link and become new members.
The value and availability of prizes may vary.
Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash and cannot be used with other coupons.
Prizes are  subject to additional terms and conditions imposed by the prize provider. The Participants/new members agree and acknowledge that Cathay is solely responsible for providing the link/coupon to redeem the prize/s and the participants/new members will have to use the said link/coupon to redeem the actual prize/s. The participants/new members agree and acknowledge that the redemption of the prize/s is subject to the compliance of the terms and conditions of the prize provider.
Cathay reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value at any time without giving any notice to the participants/new members and the participants/new members undertake not to object to the same.
Cathay reserves the right to disqualify any participant who is found to be engaging in fraudulent and/or unfair practices and/or breach of the present terms and conditions.
This includes, but is not limited to, hacking, cheating, or manipulating the game.
Cathay is not responsible for any technical problems or errors that may occur during the campaign. Cathay shall not be responsible for any loss which may be incurred by the Participants/new members while playing the game and/or for not winning the prize due to any technical interruption and the participants/new members agree not to dispute/challenge the same.
By participating in this campaign, the participants/new members consent to the collection and use of your personal information in accordance with Cathay's privacy policy.
Cathay reserves the right to amend or modify these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on Cathay's website.
Participant means any person/entity who is not a member of Cathay and plays the game to become a member of Cathay.
Any and all disputes arising out the present Campaign and/or relating to the Campaign shall be subject to and construed according to the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong.
