DONT BUY this printer.

The cartridge costs are very high plus you cannot find any compatible ones either. My similar printer MG6470 has been lying in the house and gathering dust since long. I tried buying genuine ones in the beginning but those also did not last long. Even the XL size models are all fake marketing. The ink just disappears and the cartridge empty lights turned on so quickly. I did not even print any photos or full page photos all the while.

Go for those ink tank printers instead for the best value in the long run like Canon G3000, HP 419, Epson L3150 etc.
