I knew Amazon would gate crash Flipkart’s party! Flipkart spent all the money to market and build the hype for Big Billion sale and amazon is capable of just making an announcement and steal the show.
The dirty ecommerce race
There should be some option left if Big Billion will come as just a gimmick once again..
Amazon brings real deal with genuine discounts unlike flipkart who elevates prices before billion billlion and then offers marginal discounts more than regular days..
SBI bank is also not included this year by amazon as Flipkart already took SBI, so additional cash back also lost as HDFC bank card holders are less than SBI card..
Amazon has become copycat ..Customers will definitely get benefit bcoz of this war but amazon will be my first priority bcoz of superior service and refund policy and price match clause policy also which is not available on flipkart..

can you please explain this ? is it in amazon.in ? never heard in India
Terms and conditions? Max cashback? Also any idea if I make half payemnt with amazon credits and other half with hdfc, do I still get the hdfc cashback for the amount spent using hdfc?

mostly the t&c would be like you need to do the complete payment using hdfc card itself.. if you pay some amount with GV’s, the cashback would not be applicable..

Thanks. That would be disappointing

If you bought a product in any discount deal and If unfortunately, you received wrong product then Amazon wont offer replacement but full refund only.
So in such situation, you may ask for price matching clause to the customer care people where you can get the same product with same or different seller at the same price which you got at discounted deal .
Here you have to pay the full actual amount of the product and after delivery , contact customer care again and tell them another executive has promised this and the extra amount than last deal will be transferred to your bank..
CASH BACK OPTION FOR HDFC CREDIT/DEBIT CARD HOLDERS
HDFC cardholders will get up to 15% extra cash back, which means apart from the usual price cuts in products, they will receive an exclusive 15% price cut on Amazon app and 10% on the site. They just have to fill their cart with items worth of at least Rs. 5,000 in total and pay for them through HDFC cards. The maximum cash back availed is Rs. 1500.
ADDITIONAL CASH BACK WITH YES BANK DEBIT CARD
Can anything be more exciting than this? As a Yes Bank customer, you have further cause to rejoice. Yes, you earn a straight up EXTRA 15% CashBack on your Amazon App when you make any purchase on the Amazon app. Alongside, you earn an additional 10% cashback on the amazon.in website by using your Yes Bank debit card. As the minimum transaction amount for availing this offer is Rs. 5000, shop to your heart’s content. Remember, the maximum cashback amount that you can avail of on each card is Rs. 1500! Go for it. Such offers don’t come your way every day!

Thanks for the link
Amazon is always good. Waiting for more details
Guess I have to go with Flipkart itself unless there is considerable price difference with Amazon. I neither have HDFC cards nor Yes bank cards but have Citi bank and State Bank cards all set

Flipkart has had their day in the sun, when it comes to customer support Amazon is untouchable & their discounts over the last year or so are just getting better & better! No fake items, excellent deals & superb return policy
Wannabes like Flipkart can only hope to touch their feet, the bansals are there waiting just for the opportune moment to list the site & exit it the same day! Bunch of looters no less, pretty sure they’ll abandon ship as soon as it floats on the stock market

Popcorn ready
PS: Both are good if we get good discounts, Flipkart/Amazon can be bad for you but can be good for someone else and vice versa.
Recent case of flipkart selling stolen mobiles lost so many customers trust..
I only trust one seller and thats WSRETAIL on flipkart..
If he is selling something , then only will buy else will not be tempted by unknown and inexperienced seller for any reason..
Flipkart customer care is pathetic, just after announce of Big billion they become active on social media to pretend a good service support .

Same here… We’re both in the same boat…

I guess it’s just ill luck man, could have happened with Snapdeal or Amazon as well if that seller were to register on Snapdeal or Amazon. I don’t think any of these websites have a foolproof mechanism to detect the authenticity of the seller, source of stock and all.

Yes but then again Flipkart CC is going down the drain (only Snapdeal seems worse) for quite sometime now, never had such troubles with Amazon & in fact I’d argue there support is getting better as compared to a year or two back.

Amazon fulfilled sellers are good and authentic that’s why we prefer buying Amazon than other sites..
Guaranteed delivery in one to two days which is not offered by any site yet..and If anything goes wrong then their customer support are very supportive and helping..
Paytm has the worst scenario as seller are maximum frauds and sends defective and used products many times but we always take risk bcoz of tempting cash backs….
Good find!
but look at Paytm ! everyday new offers ! everytime cash back! every product can be returned ! every customer gets service !cash can also be transferred !

Paytm customer service is a myth. It doesn’t exist.
What about SBI offer?
