I am observing Cleartrip.com Hotel booking rates are Rs.500 to 1000 more than MakeMyTrip.com rates per night. This could be the reason that Cleartrip.com is giving discounts of upto Rs. 800 per booking and still making profits.

Please compare hotel rates among websites before booking. Don’t jump the gun seeing discount coupons.

Completely agree with you kage bro! I booked a hotel at Rs1482 per night and when i went to the hotel the same room was easily available at Rs1000.
(Thats a different case that i booked for 2 nights using CTSPICE) :-p

sitting arrangement is decided at the time of issuing a boarding pass or you can choose it by yourself by doing the web checkin.Also,Few airlines allows you to choose the seat on manage your booking options.So you can book your tickets seperately.
Only issue which you can face is the ticket price might increase after booking 3 or 4 tickets.
Every tuesday Ezeego1 runs the Happy hour deals on their Facebook page generally between 3 pm to 5pm.So,if you have time wait till tomoroow and see what ezeego comes up with on their facebook page.

They have concealed Rs.327 in this breakup without any explicit mention of transaction charges. They admitted over the phone regarding the transaction charges when I told them about the difference in itinerary sent by SpiceJet compared to theirs.

I have myself bought a lot of tickets using this promo – the best one in this series is “Last 3 digits of CC / Debit card as cashback” . I have one debit card having last 3 digits in 800+ range and always got that as cashback – even for a single trip.

But yes, I were to compare the same trips against say something like Cleartrip, ezeego1’s fairs were usually Rs. 50 / Rs. 100 higher. But with 800 as cashback it was always a win-win deal.

@Jackal, after booking tickets for SpiceJet I got one itinerary from ezeego1.com and one from SpiceJet.com. There was a difference of 327 in both. I called them regarding this difference and they said that it is the transaction charge.

In the above screenshot, there is no charge mentioned as transaction charge so I think they do not want to explicitly reveal that they charge for transactions because most of the travel sites don’t charge you. They hide the extra charge in their breakup.

BTW, please give me more details about last 3 digit promotions as when and how to avail it? I have a card ending in around 650 so might use it next time!

bro keep checking their facebook page every tuesday (happy hours), last time on the new year eve they came up with cashback equal to last 3 digits of card with no upper limit.

every other time they come up with flat 500/400/350 off on domestic flight and sometime with cashback equal to last 3 digits(upper cap 500)
