Nice offer. Cheap fares after quite a long time. Had planned to book a Tatkal ticket in 2AC from goa to Delhi on a Rajdhani, would have lightened my Pockets by 4400 bucks for 21st May, thanks to this offer, I now spent about 1/3rd that amount.

Even if it was there, Airasia fares on Agent websites are always higher that what is available on their own website and also Airasia charges only Rs 80 convenience fee Per booking if paid through Netbanking, while all other websites charge 250-400 per passenger.

They previously had the license when they were only an international operator, but they decided to move away from Delhi due to high fees.

Guys please don’t book tickets in airasia. Last year also they gave similar low fare flight tickets which can be booked one year before the date of flight. But it is completely cheating. They will cancel your flights and don’t even inform you. And they won’t refund your money. Because it happened to me. On the day of my flight, they said flight is cancelled and I can approach for refund. Its waste of money. I’m still fighting with them to get the refund. Just check this in chennai airport. Airasia is not at all running flights for atleast next 4 months. Don’t become a prey for this online cheating.

This is not true, I had utilised their initial international offer of flight + hotel & took flight to Kuala Lumpur from Chennai on 9th March.

In all such low fare flash sales, if you look they clearly mention that there will be no refund for cancellations, also baggages are charged extra.

Air Asia not cancelling flights at all or Air Asia not refunding when they cancel their flights or the above scenario experienced by the newbie isn’t possible to happen at all?

If Air Asia cancel the flights due to unforeseen circumstances, then they are liable to compensate the customer through refund..
If their terms say they are not liable for compensations, then avoid prebooking too long into the future since the cost of accommodation and other transportation planned will outweigh the cheaper airfare.

If it’s a hidden term/condition then the other dimer has every right to warn fellow dimers of such practise.

Of course, All the scenarios can happen in real life.
I wanted to mentioned that AA does offer to accommodate customers in other flights if one get cancelled for any reason, and since they already mentioned that the refunds are not possible for user initiated cancellation in initial terms it is better not to ask for one.
I am not taking sides, had a good experience with them, same was shared. Thats it.
