If we transfer back (for some reason) – yes.

But if we book irctc ticket or shop on paytm shop (in due course), then it may be worth to have that “Extra” Rs 68

Still it is pathetic to see add money cashback offers declining – both in number/frequency and % discount/cashback!!

I guess the whole model depends on the scale of Indian population… they just have to do customer acquisition and stickiness, and it may give enormous leverage and growth in long term.

Recent news:
Paytm claims to have crossed 10 cr user wallets (Mobikwik claims only 1.7 cr users asper this Medianama article). The target till 2020 is 50 cr customers, for which Rs 500 cr investment expected (as per paytm ceo in a tv interview).

Their user money has crossed Rs100 cr mark – with 20 fold jump in last 18 months. They have also applied for payment banking license. (Indian Express)
