Terms & Conditions
The “Learn With Yahoo! (”Program") shall be organized and conducted by Yahoo India Private Limited (“Yahoo! India”) and shall be open from 12th November 2010 to 31st May 2011 (both days inclusive) (“Program Period”)
The Course is open only to citizens of India. The Participants are required to fill in the details as required on the website www.learnwithyah...om and click on Program in the language of their preference i.e either in English or Hindi and complete the Program within a maximum period of 1(one) hour from the start of the Program. The Participants will mandatorily require to register and obtain a Yahoo! Email ID where the Certificate of Completion (e-certificate) can be emailed to the participants who successfully complete the Program. The e-certificate shall not be emailed on a non Yahoo! Email ID and is non transferable. Each Participant shall be eligible to participate only once with the registration details provided during the Program Period. The Program Period shall end on 31st May 2011 at 23.59 Hrs. The “Certificate of Completion” only certifies successful completion of this Program and in no manner may reflect on the competence, learning or any other ability of the participant. Via this certificate of completion Yahoo its Affiliates and its Agencies do not in any manner guarantee or take any responsibility for any other benefits including that of employment to the participant at any time now or in the future. Yahoo! India, its Affiliates and its Agencies shall be entitled to use, in any manner, the name, photographs and other details of the Participant or any other participating person, likeness and status in any publication including the Benefits awarded to them, if any. By participating in the Program all Participants hereby agree to the same. Yahoo may, at its discretion, choose not to disclose the identity of the selected Participant to other Participants. Yahoo also reserves the right to withdraw or discontinue with the Program at any stage without any liability whatsoever to the Participant and, or, anyone. The Participant undertakes to indemnify and keep Yahoo its Affiliates and its Agencies harmless and indemnified against any loss, damage, claims, costs and expenses which may be incurred or suffered by Yahoo! India due to breach of any Terms and Conditions contained herein by the Participant and/or infringement or violation of any patent, copyright, trademark, trade secret or other proprietary right of a third party by the Participant and, or, arising from the participation of the Participant in the Program. Any incomplete form or online registration for the Program by a participant shall be rejected. Yahoo! India reserves the right to reject any participant form without assigning any reason thereof. Any decision taken in this regard shall be final and binding and not subject to any dispute or challenge. Yahoo! India does not make any commitment, express or implied, to respond to any feedback, suggestion and, or, queries of the participants or furnish reasons for inclusion and, or, exclusion of any particular submission of the participant at any stage. The Program is online and is free of any charge to the participant. The Participant may be required to pay for his/her usage of PC, hardware or internet charges in case applicable. These charges or any other such charges will be borne by the Participant. Yahoo! India and its Affiliates Program do not undertake any responsibility of providing the infrastructure for such a service and or reimbursement of any such charges. The Certificate of Completion for the participants who successfully complete the Program shall be sent to the Yahoo! Email ID provided by the participant by e-mail. However, there shall be no liability on Yahoo! India and its Affiliates in the event such e-mail does not reach such participant at the email address provided. The decision on the participants selected by Yahoo! India for the completion certificate shall be final and binding and no correspondence or communication shall be entertained in this regard. The e-certificate shall neither be transferable nor exchangeable for cash or otherwise. Mere participation in the Program shall not entitle a participant to the e-certificate. The participant or his/her legal heirs shall have no other rights or claims whatsoever against Yahoo! India .No other person or agent can claim the e-certificate on behalf of the participant. The “Certificate of Completion” only certifies successful completion of this Program and in no manner reflects on the competence, learning or any other ability of the participant. Via this certificate of completion Yahoo! India and its Affiliates do not in any manner take any responsibility for any other benefits including that of employment to the participant at any time now or in the future. Yahoo India and its Affiliates shall be entitled to use, in any manner, the name, photographs and other details of the participant, likeness and status in any publication including the e-certificates provided to them, if any. By participating in the Program all participants hereby agree to the same. Yahoo! India may, at its discretion, choose not to disclose the identity of the selected participant to other participants. This Program provided by Yahoo! India is subject to the applicable laws in India. Yahoo! India or any of its affiliates, directors, employees and associates shall not be liable in any manner whatsoever for any misrepresentation, default or any act or omission in relation to the Program. This Program is developed in association with NIIT and is managed by Jagran Solutions (AUO JPL) on behalf of Yahoo! India. Employees of Yahoo! India and/or their associate and affiliate companies/concerns, are not eligible for participating in the Program The participant undertakes to indemnify and keep Yahoo! India and its Affiliates harmless and indemnified against any loss, damage, claims, costs and expenses which may be incurred or suffered by Yahoo! India due to breach of any Terms and Conditions contained herein by the participant. In case of any dispute or difference in respect of this Program, the decision of Yahoo! India shall be final and binding on all concerned. The terms and conditions of this Program are subject to the laws of Republic of India. All disputes in respect of this Program shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of competent court/s at Mumbai. Participation in this Program implies acceptance of all the terms and conditions of the Program. Yahoo! India reserves the right to alter the terms of this Program or terminate the Program at its own discretion and without prior notice to the participant and without incurring any liability whatsoever.
