I was planning a vacation with my friend few days back and we were discussing about places.I was shocked to see a what’s app message on my phone 2 days later regarding travel packages of that place.We have not discussed about our tour plan with anyone else.And similar incident happened few days later.I was discussing with my friend to buy a plot in an area and next day a message popped on my whatsapp from Real estate company in that area.Later,I got to know my Whatsapp microphone was ON and whatsapp was eavesdropping us.I suggest everyone to put microphone and camera off for all the apps on your smart phone and Use them only when needed.

I know of people who work in company boards, in their top meetings, all are asked to switch off mobiles and deposit outside the meeting rooms, that is cause they know mobiles can hear and see

google will not only listen to you they will also track your location and identify that you are travelling to some new place. On android even if you turn of all the permissions then too google will still have all your data. Thats why android is not as secure as IOS.
Bro nobody will believe this but lemme say why I left FB. One fine day I was scrolling through fb and had a thought in mind about something which I don't remember much. Suddenly that exact thing appeared on my FB feed. Believe me I haven't made any Google search, talked to anybody about that moreover I myself haven't had any idea about that earlier. Told my friends about this somebody laughed but some people told me that they were too experienced the same. Gives me chill even now

3. Can't hide from gmail, have proton mail account but everywhere gmail is used...
They say the can't read the content, but lol they do everytime I will say.
4. All apps try to tract activity/data its their money making chance. yday could not find 1 popular calculator app which does not collect data. Why calc requires tracking. Need to be more careful no option.
5. Youtube has the content, no hiding from it. Use it in brave browser to avoid ads.
6. Sadly not much of any option again, use brave browser to watch news in incognito.
Hate when these things happens, these companies one or other way try to get/track all our activity.
I have given 0 permissions(even to Google, Android Auto, Android System Intelligence - everywhere you will see these have mic/location). Don't use google assistant, find my phone may also not work but ready to pay the cost I think.

But end of day I think I can't hide data/activity from 1. Google 2. Phone manufacturer.
