Hi,

I wanted to know, if my employer will share landlord pan when I submit my Hra along with rental income to IT? Is it reflected in AIS?

No. However It will be reflected in his AIS if you show rent paid to him in your ITR.

I mean, I submit landlord pan to my employer to get hra benefit, and my employer has to share the details with IT along with what rent I pay. Landlord pan is mandatory only when the monthly rent is over 8333 rs or 1L yearly.

I saw one article, where rental income is reflected in landlord's AIS.

Just assume that it will. That generally is the case. People have got notices for not declaring rental income because their pan was tagged. On the contrary a racket a busted where people claimed HRA by giving PAN where they didn't pay rent at all. The PAN holders were not aware of this misuse in most case. It wad caught as same PAN was used by multiple people.

So avoid that as well.
