Longway product warranty query (is it a scam?)

Few days back purchased longway electric kettle.
Today recieved a call and the lady was saying that she is registering warranty for the product, then she asked a otp from Amazon.
I didn't share it
Wanted to know that was it a scam or legit call.

Last year, same thing happened to me.
I have ordered Longway Egg boiler from Amazon. Few days afer the delivery, I got a call, she told me that calling from Longway customercare and also told my order details, asked me any issue with product (I thought Longway will call the customers to get the feedback), I said No issue.
Next she will register the product for warranty, I said Ok.
Then she told me that since I have ordered this product from Amazon, I will receive an OTP from Amazon, that OTP will be used to register the product warranty (I'm like WOW, nice explanation for a scam). I received the SMS with OTP to Reset my Amazon account. Next I told her it's a scam, she disconnected the call.
I checked that number in Truecaller, it was registered as Longway customercare and with Tick mark. Already few people commented there as they were asked Amazon OTP for warranty registration. So I thought, Longway products order details were leaked by someone to these scammers.

But never asked for any OTP, that to From Amazon?
