My icici credit card bill was due on may 8 but somehow it slipped from my mind but still i paid bill on may 7 through hdfc bill pay. Now the problem is payment hasn’t been credited in card so what should i do? Pay again? One thing i noticed is that i paid citi credit card bill through hdfc bill pay on may 3 but payment realisation date was may 7. Previously i was in impression that the date on which payment was initiated should be considered as bill payment date.

Don't worry there is three day grace period .... if due date was 8th , no penalty will be charged till 11 th wait till tomorrow else pay and later get refund

No need to take any action.
Only Citi credit card payment was taking the credit date as payment date. All other banks will consider paid date as payment date.
Citi credit card payment will take minimum 3 working days to get credit when paid via HDFC bill pay.
In this case, ICICI credit card paid on 7th will credit by 9th EOD. (Max it will be credited by 10th EOD). But the payment date will be 7th will be showing in ICICI statement.
If still worried, Just pay only minimum due by any fastest means.
But my suggestion is, it is also not required right now.
Wait till tomorrow evening, and if still not credited, pay minimum due at that time.
