i got sold two CC recently

I got two credit cards recently from two different folks.

Yes Bank:

The rep said it is Yes Bank select card, if I take it as a rupay card I will have it life time free. But when I was reviewing my application it mentioned 399+gst. I questioned the rep, they said that it will show as dummy and assured me nothing will happen.

I completed my kyc and I feel unsafe.

HSBC bank:

The rep said it is hsbc platinum card which is life time free cc. I did not get any application for to review.

Can I close both these accounts if I receive wrong cards? How would I know if these are chargeable before bill generation dates? Somehow I get to know that these are chargeable, what can I do to these people professionally for unethical practice?

After getting the cards, don't activate them. Call respective customer care, if they said it is for fee, don't activate it. After 30 or 90 days, they can't charge you and card numbers will be disposed of since u didn't activate.

Yes select is not on rupay, for rupay card they are issuing another virtual card with diff card num

Yes bank card would be 399+gst annually. If you want rupay cc you can request that additionally which will be ltf, and limit will be shared. But if you close or your first card then rupay one will also be closed.
