My suggestion is start buying Indian thing. means buy the things from Indian company only and not MNC or other country company.
C the benefits:
Profit not go out of India.
Recession is there so it would help Indian company to survive and employee of that company.
Buy Khadi swadeshi products more.
MNC profit margin is so high and we pay just for the brand (Higher paying low quality compare to payment)
Indian company not charge like MNC and give quality product.

Good intention but how about getting real and talk about alternatives to every imported product that people tend to use on a daily basis. Right from consumables to clothes to mobile phones. Indicate what are popular imported products from various brands that people purchase and what truly Indian alternative exists that is at least comparable if not equally good or better.
raghupro Well electrical items for sure, most of the stuff can be made in India. I know from experience that China made “coolers” & fans aren’t reliable. Sure it will cost more at first but I’m willing to pay 20 or even 30% more for quality & peace of mind. Similarly for chemicals, though to a lesser extent.
Electronics – Samsung has setup panel manufacturing(?) in India & we have good amount of local suppliers here. The actual high end stuff i.e. CPU, NAND, DRAM isn’t all made in China. In fact that is the biggest myth of the internet – these are mostly assembled in China. Xi’s 2025 tech plan, about stealing western tech or to put it in their words “make them self sufficient in it” is all about replacing US, Korean, Japanese high end components that make the core of every electronic products China assembles. Panels, DRAM, NAND, capacitors, batteries – you name it the vast majority of the tech is not owned, let alone developed by China.
So yeah the Chinese dominance, in this area, is as much about the myth as it is about hearsay.

Bhai indian manufacturing sector is shit.
I have a lot of relatives who deals in chinese products from electronics to apparels, all of them make a same argument that the price of Chinese is honest and the quality is actually better than Indian product of similar or even higher price. Moreover Indian prices are insane, for example: free few years back there was some problem between India and China which resulted in stopping of import of many items, among which was the China watch movement (the small device in every watch which makes the watch work and show time) the normal price at that time was ₹13/piece in the wholesale market but as the supply stopped an Indian manufacturer from rajkot started making them, the price was ₹32/piece and the quality we worst.
Chinese people are always ready to work on very thin margins, whereas traditional indian merchants and manufacturers never work without huge margins.
Now i understand that mainly all Chinese products are nothing in quality when compared to branded items made by some indian companies but majority of indian people can’t afford them so they choose what is best for them in their budget, furthermore mny of the items we buy from China, we simply don’t even make them like mobile phones, tv and other electronic items. So how we can buy indian of there is no indian manufacturer of that item?
Bhai saab that’s not an argument, China makes stuff in every price range from below cost throwaway stuff to high end Aerospace.
I also said that their govt subsidizes them to a large extent, which is absolutely true. The things coming from Aliexpress, without paying import duties – besides being illegal, that is also one of the reasons why our local manufacturing is dying. You talk about honest pricing and stuff, do you know how they can afford to do that? They sell shit stuff that literally doesn’t last, lots of these things are sold on Amazon, FK & especially paytm, previously ebay as well. These things usually do not have warranty, now coming to higher end stuff. The high end stuff that goes into phones or other higher margin products, they make money off them – lots of money.
So basically they’ve killed local manufacturing the world over by selling these cheap shit, which people buy without knowing how long they’ll last. Then they’ve made money by selling better stuff for higher margin products. Take example of Poco f1 – great price, probably sold at or very near to cost of making. Then comes K20 pro – what was the price of that?
Do you get my point now? It’s easy to say that India doesn’t have the quality stuff – this is absolutely untrue, take our cars for instance or drugs! It is more about margins & volume, also Chinese subsidies. When you’re making 1000 products – say 100 high quality high margin, 500 medium quality good margins & 300 low quality & little to negative margins. It is easy to compete on price against Indian manufacturers who only make probably 100 of these things.
If people knew the economics & basics of how China has grown, with the aid of stolen western tech, they wouldn’t be making the kind of arguments I’ve seen in this thread. Comparing media content to manufacturing products, I mean I lose a few million neurons every time I see such posts.

The thing is, If price of Indian products are less than foreign brands, then only we can think about Indian products & why’s that not happening? Chinese products are selling in India at low cost even after import duties & taxes.
