Amazon pay cc active
my friend does not have icici account. he was using their platinum cc. now his card expired and he got the amazon pay card. as per bank letter the same can be activated using below points
1. callng them on 18001020123. he called them more than 15 days but they say that they cannot give cc pin on phone and tell them to mail on [email protected] mailed there but no response
2. use internet banking. he does not have icici account so no net banking
3. download icici imobile app. go to services then cards pin services and then generate cc pin. first of all this app asks to link upi id. he linked his hdfc upi id. now there is no option in this app to generate cc pin.
please tell how to generate cc pin for non icici users?

You have to call their support to generate internet banking user id. Also your friend should have received a sms with cc pin, ask him to search in sms(search new ICICI exactly like this).

He registered on imobile with same no as the one for cc? The card should have shown automatically in it afaik.

I guess all banks provide cc pin generation from phone ivr/atm machines/net banking and sometimes even through text message to their official number.

Bro Goto Icicibank.com (desktop) click on on get user id or forgot user id ..
Get user id via credit card numbers..
Note down user id and next step is forgot password… Bla Bla Bla… Set Password…

@kukdookoo Go to icici atm then insert card then select option ATM pin generation via OTP then a OTP will come, type it then insert new pin and then all done

Make sure to recharge with unlimited plan or Rs.19 two days unlimited call pack as it will take long waiting to get connected. Tell them to link your mobile number to user ID & tell you that user ID. Also that ID will take at least 1-2 days to get activated in system.

pin finally generated thru ivr. but amazon pay say to activate online transactions before using. still phone customer care is saying to visit branch to do same. if we try to clik on forgot userid it say phone number wrong or something

@guest_999 that 011 number is for accountholder of icici bank
I used that same number in Apr & I also don’t have any icici bank account. I was getting the error “mobile number is not registered with account” while using that “get user ID” option in netbanking where you enter your card number & mobile number. On calling this number the guy took note of my issue & after a minute he told me my user ID & said that within 1-2 days it will be activated in system & then try login & it worked.

Looks like phone banking services are being operated on a limited capacity ( You got the PIN generated now after multiple attempts )
May be you can just wait and the card gets activated automatically ?
+ their servers will get updated too by then ( Linking CC w/ the mobile number ).. Some banks take a while for this to work ( For instance, AXIS Mobile App takes a week after the VCC/CC gets generated/delivered )
Like i said above, you can get the Net banking credentials (& enable/disable online transactions) via IVR just like you generated ATM pin.. but some inexperienced service representatives are giving wrong information about visiting the branch

Request Internet banking credentials via ICICI support (He can get it instantly via phone banking)
Then generate CC pin via IB
