Flipkart Open Box Delivery - Share your experience

3. That can't be checked. Open box delivery is just for ensuring that nothing is missing and phone is intact not damaged physically. 

1. Don't accept and return the product. Otherwise it will be your responsibility and won't get any refund/compensation if any damage/problem arise.

2. He will open the seal in front of you and show you that all the items of the box are present. For example: 1 Phone, 1 type C to type C cable, 1 sim ejector pin for a Samsung phone. The box content is also mentioned on Flipkart's order page or product page and you need to check if everything is present or not. After handing over the box contents, the delivery boy will ask you to check for any scratches, bends, or dents. If everything is fine, give him the pin. DO NOT SHARE THE PIN BEFORE HAND. The delivery boy may put pressure on you for the OTP, saying things like "hurry up," "I don't have time," etc. Don't listen to him.

3. There is no way to determine whether or not an internal issue exists, and it is not Flipkart's responsibility (see terms and conditions). If you encounter an internal problem, you must visit the service center.

I have ordered multiple phones through OBD, and they have all worked flawlessly so far. The only downside is that you will not have the precious experience of unboxing your own phone; otherwise, everything is fine.

The delivery guy will open the box in front of you show you all the accessories and device you can switch on the mobile and check if screen is intact then only you should give OTP. I have received 2 mobile phones so follow these steps no need to worry.

Delivery might pressure you to give OTP without letting you check much by giving excuses like he's getting late etc.. Absolutely don't give OTP until you have checked properly.

Today Received Mobile in OPen box delivery system, after 10-15 mintues checked there is little dent or paint removed . Now lets see they will return or not

Just make sure, @ViralDimer, that he does the unboxing on a wide surface. There is a chance that the phone might slip from his hand and fall on the ground. I have seen a few videos on Twitter where this happened. You can always refuse the delivery if something like this occurs, but it will cause unnecessary stress for you. If you bought it on sale, you could end up losing the discount. It's better to prevent than to cure.

I've purchased a iPhone 15 recently and gave OTP only after verifying box, phone, everything and also doing initial setup of the phone by connecting to WiFi, logging into Apple ID and checking imei/serial number on the box matches the settings as well.
