Despite the fact that Apple's 2023 iPhone series, rumoured to be called the iPhone 15, will not be released for another 1.5 years, we already know a lot about it. A recent report confirms what we've heard regarding the company's camera system.
According to a MacRumors source, Apple's iPhone 15 Pro might include a periscope camera system, which would allow the firm to place a longer telephoto lens within the smartphone. Furthermore, viewers would be able to zoom in even further without compromising quality. For quite some time, the Cupertino-based company has been reported to add a periscope lens on future iPhones, with the earliest comments coming from a well-known Apple analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo, back in 2020.
By Android standards, that would be late. Samsung and Huawei currently sell phones with periscope lenses that allow for 10x optical magnification. The iPhone 13 Pro, on the other hand, can only be magnified three times. Of course, a phone camera is about more than zooming, and the iPhone 13 is one of the greatest camera smartphones available.
However, Apple has other camera upgrades planned for the iPhone 14. The main wide camera on the Pro versions is expected to be 48MP, up from 12MP on the existing models. This device will reportedly support 8K video recording as well. According to reports, this sensor will be paired with 12MP ultrawide and telephoto lenses. At least three models are likely to feature a notch-less display, and Apple is rumoured to be contemplating removing the SIM card slot.
The iPhone could be able to provide optical zoom up to 10x in future models, making it competitive with top-end Android phones. Keep in mind that this is still a rumour, so take it with a grain of salt for the time being. It's still too early to know if the iPhone 15 series, which is almost two years away, will contain this camera sensor.

Stop posting these hype articles. Apple is still giving the same shitty screen with a huge notch and websites keep writing about how its gonna be full screen for the last 3 years. They will take away stuff, not add them.
another good reason , not to upgrade my 6s.
