Eat anything whether its healthy or not but eat in moderation bcoz now even healthy foods are also contaminated with unwanted pesticides and chemicals.
1) bhuna Chana / peanuts
2) fruits apple banana etc
3) home made sandwich
4) sprouts
5) paneer
6) boiled eggs
7) homemade nankeen you can prepare according to your requirements

Roasted chana, peanuts, murmure, sprouts bhel
Whatever that doesn't have Palm Oil as an ingredient.
now has to rethink.
@rajatindia -- Depends on
- Your weight
- Blood Sugar
- Known allergies to nuts/food if any
- What time, morning, afternoon or evening etc.
Know your body first 😊
The question itself says you are rich.
I even ate jeera with jaggery, wheat flour+ jaggery powder( or sugar) mixed with water, fried gram + jaggery, poha+ milk + sugar ( no milk just water). Poha+curd+jaggery, pickles, tamarind+salt+chillipowder.
Are these snacks ? i dont know, but readily available all time at our poor homes.
What to eat was never priority, but hungers grab what is available.
Roasted chana, roasted peanut, cashew, any season fruits as per your choice, corn🌽, makhana
Mummy kaa chappal. Nothing beats that.
Fruits, Dry fruits, Chilla, Namkeen, Poha, Pakode etc.
Kaafi Ameer log, dikh rahe hain aaj
Leaving stuff which takes time to cook like chila etc aside
Snacks
better than comparison
- Too Yumm! Chilli Achari Karare is quite good, not healthy but better than lays kurkure etc
- snac lite etc are also good
mostly healthy
- Gajjak ( peanut brittle )
- similar to it other combo called called marunda ( basically jaggery and mixed with wheat, rice puff, chana etc
- rice puffs
- singhdana
- roasted chana/peanut
- banana chips and similar
- home made papad and namkeen
- Find some local bulk snack shop there you can find rice and soya based crisps. e.g
fruits, Dry fruits for health pro max
peanut brittle-> bad for teeth. One should avoid sticky snacks.
the marketed version of something like that is called "makhna" or something.. i think.
But these are much more costly.
In the mornings.. i prefer unprocessed or low processed things.
So, plain coconut/🥥 nariyal or 🥥coconut with jaggery.. dark jaggery without bleaching agents. I end up adjusting with the ones sold in D-mart.
Those jaggery blocks are sold in mug shaped blocks of about 900 grams.
Whenever I travelled to or lived in western India.. these type of (relatively) chemical-free jaggery was available in other supermarkets too.. but to keep things homogenised.. i take from D-mart.
That gud/jaggery usually has Gujarati script/font.. names like Kesar/keshar, King
but in Maharashtra.. even Kolhapur/Satara made jaggery too is similar (dark in colour, soft in taste, no bleaching agents and thus less chemicals).
■ Makhna/Makhana
■ coconut or jaggery with coconut
■ milk and sprouts
■ plain sprouts or sprouts (especially moong) with lemon juice and sendha or any other rock salt.
■ old chapatis/phulke.. cut into smaller pieces.. then instead of Lays, Pringles.. fry these leftover phulke/roti and sprinkle sone salt and black pepper too if the taste develops.
fried roti/phulke may not be as healthy as sprouts or coconut.. but is a fairly okay middle ground, i think.
■ fruitsssssssssssssss! Nothing better really to have ready to eat snacks like kela, papita (banana, papaya). Yes both require the skin to be peeled.. but these are then 'ready to eat'.
not too closely either. And 🙂 available almost everywhere.
In south east Asia or south Americas.. even more and even varied fruits .. local versions of leechi.. like rambutan and other things are there.
■ in processed and packaged food, sometimes muesli is okay.
i find the plain muesli of Baggry/ Bagdi brand better than those of others (like Kellogg). That fruit and nut (pink pack) Baggry muesli.. smells like chewing gum or chocolates and i did not AT ALL like.
stupid me, greedy me.. bought it last week. D-mart did not have Baggry brand plain muesli.. the staff suggested that I try some other brand that they had. I said no. Then she said.. sir Baggry's fruit and nut and horrible perfume one is at 50% off. First time ever i bought. Opened the pack at home, smelled it and now have to giveaway.
■ as a youngster and even into my teens.. ate lots of wheat-flakes. It did not used to be that costly, but now I do not find Kellogg's wheatflakes🙄 in shops!
■ home roasted peanuts and market bought roasted chana (often with turmeric or colour on it) so i remove the outer layer/skin or chaff and fill the chana/ gram in a container and keep peanuts and chana.. handy.. even while travelling.
and yes :-<> Jaggery goes well with home roasted peanuts and bazaar bought roasted chana/ gram.
■ gul-raab.. is something a relative used to feed us and I like it.. in a way.
गुळ राब/ गुल राब is this semi liquid, viscous thing.. with maybe wheat flour too.. but it is liquefied jaggery.. maybe with a bit of water.. heated heated.
on another burner.. sauté'ing wheat flour in ghee (clarified butter) .. then when the गुड/ jaggery liquid (¿चाशनी?) is somewhat cooked.. then added the flour (previously sautéd in ghee) in the jaggery liquid. Then cooking again for a while. Served semi-liquid.
yes, it is not for those who do not like sweets or are trying to avoid sweets.
■ speaking of sauté.. one can have steamed and mashed potatoes.. sauté them in ghee.. aka.. baghaar/chounka of namak, mirchi, jeera and some crushed (roasted) groundnuts to add crunchy-ness.. in pure clarified butter/ pure ghee.
■ appam, idli, porridge (daliya), upma, medu vada, chilla/ chilada, pohe-jalebi and other local snacks.. whenever out travelling are other options too.
■ amongst biscuits.. Threptin are relatively free of white-flour/maida and then i like McVitie's Hobnobs. otherwise all time munchy snacks are Monaco (plain Parle Monaco). Tea time biscuits which others have are Marie type biscuits.. but those are all mostly maida too.
■ khaari or (in Maharashtra) maska khaari
■ rusks.
■ dahi/curd.
■ curd/dahi with (Haldiram Nagpur) bhujiya.
■ dhokla/khaman when in western India.
■ aaloo parantha, other vegetables parantha or sometimes even paneer parantha in north and central India.. if the same are being prepared relatively hygienically and looks safe to consume.
i usually avoid paneer though, even if at known relative's place and in street food and restaurants especially. Too much fear.. even phobia about source and adulteration.
■ homemade cottage cheese/paneer.. raw or slightly baked and with salt and pepper.
■ potato fingers/ french fries i used to prepare.. but it has been ages now.🥲😢
■ do sometimes munch on Soya sticks, potato chips, plain/yellow banana chips and do eat select shop's milk cake too like snacks.. sometimes stuffing even 100-150 grams.

as also some which I thought were a failure.. whenever were tried homemade.
For instance, mysore paak never came out even half as good. daal-moth, bhujiya sev (bikaneri bhujiya) too.. ended up being a bit off.
was unaware or never actually tried (making) besan parantha. in-fact still wondering, whether it be the crust or also the stuffing.
dhokla.. I think requires overnight prep. unless of-course ready-mix is there (usually packaged item).
but have to recheck.. final cooking/making.. yes.. takes less time.
(surprisingly, for me.. as I was unaware of it.. cakes too can be baled in a jiffy. someone made an impromptu cake for their domestic help. Just by crushing Parle-G... lots of them.. then adding whatever other things a cake is made of. baking soda and popped it in a non microwave oven. Lo! And behold.. we were singing happy birthday to that domestic help of theirs.. in 20-25 minutes.)
likewise, if something is fried in besan.. then I assume it might be like pakoree.
Have had paneer fried in besan, but yet not tried chhena (fried in besan).
Suhari: have to check, what it is. maybe I never heard or maybe similar thing has a different nomenclature. ह or हा¿ suहri or suहाri🤔
Nimki, i assume is cousin of shakkar-paara/गुड para.
But last time around someone (home enterprise/ mahila gruh udyog) made them with white flour/maida.. instead of wholewheat flour.
(People even make jalebi from wholewheat flour, instead of maida.. thus.. it IS possible to switch ingredients a bit.)
ठेकुआ: again unaware. will check.
somehow gujhiya ends up being a rare thing for me. then too.. I only like it how certain people make it. coconut and mewa/dry-fruit stuffing is not difficult.. but the frying part or the crust texture.
So learnt a new name: pirukiya🙂.
kofta: if it is what we see around.. would be a main course item naa¿ or a snack too¿
(the entry about kofta and tarua).
Maggi from market: new fears unlocked!
(the other day, at some bhojnalay type place, i saw this guy plunging🪠 a wash basin by hand. and i had a mini panic attack. people come to wash their hands, spit in the basin and used it immediately after using the loo too.
the guy doing the cleaning WITH HIS BARE HANDS was very casual about it that yeah it is okay.
5 minutes later.. i see him coming out of the kitchen area, with food to serve.. and even serving phulka/ roti/ chapati 😆by hand.🤢
I am so thankful that our stomachs produce enough acids to kill many of the microbes. i do not know if lime/lemon helps.. but i use that too.)
Yes i do too eat Schezwan or non spicy noodles.. but usually only the ones served right off the wok/ freshly made in front of me.
Not that everytime the wok/kadhaai is super clean or free of charred deposits/ burnt oil layers upon layers.
