way to find mcc code

In idfc can check post transaction

You can not find mcc codes before paying but you can make test txn using idfc credit card. Their txn receipt shows mcc code for that particular merchant.

i just found this detail from @Saadhav today .

We can do a transaction using idfc cc and it shows mcc in transaction receipt.

with this you can do a small payment to get mcc and then do the actual payment.

Where to check in IDFC?

I needed this info desperately.

1. OFF domestic trasaction , txn will fail call customer care and ask for MCC

2. in billers like BOB or Axis it is mentioned

post transaction IDFC First Bank CC shows MCC but DC from the same bank doesn't show, weird 😫

You can disable payments or online Txns. Then try the transaction, it will fail. Now call CC to ask what was last failed Txn and MCC of Txn.😂
