Not a very good article.. But it is comparing rioters to wall street.. But the damage rioters do is minor compared to what wall street.. How many people died in bopal compared to all riots in india for example? You cant easily come out complaining about wall street so you have to do it this way to get attention and get published..
In fact hardly anyone complains about the destruction caused by wall street.. But they are hell bent on punishing rioters.. Look at the damage wall street caused in south America, africa, asia.. Island of Hawaii got invaded because of banana capitalists and as well as Cuba..
True evil are the cancel culture mongers. 🙂 They just wanna whitewash everything as if they never happened. And it is happening in our subconscious way.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Personal_Hist... is the recent example. I am not a racist person but the set up itself is a really weird. In the past an Indian boy is mothered by a white woman and a bad white step father, who go on to live with his aunt and then befriends a girl, who is of afroamerican origin and whose (step)father is a Chinese man kind of disruptive in nature. And the main antagonist Steerforth has an afro-american mother.
David Copperfield book itself was published in 1850. Non the less the movie is really charming, but attempts to whitewash the past to indulge in a false sense of euphoria is kind of detrimental to the future generation of the society. That too is in my opinion only.
Painting a beautiful past is good, but whitewashing past means whitewashing struggles, agony of the depressed in the hands of oppressors. That’s not justice.
All these vandalism etc are the start of a new phase. Maybe that’s karma. But I sincerely hope intellectuals take charge and veer the society from falling into the deep chasm of anarchy.
