UPDATE: Getting normal ICICI card from APAY card through Expressions method

- After Expressions started showing in app, call Customer care and ask them to issue Platinum chip card which is LTF based on Expressions card
- They will take the request and issue Platinum chip. After getting the card close Expressions without activating it so no joining fee will be charged
So many people got Platinum Card through this method without any hassle so I wanted to follow the same route but to my surprise after getting Expressions card, the customer support told me that the Platinum chip card was discontinued. Tried several times but same answer every time. Confirmed this with others too. They are issuing Platinum only through fresh application and not as an upgrade. So I chose MMT Platinum card which has only joining fee of 500 and then LTF. That joining fee too will be compensated with 500 MMT cash. But they threw another bomb informing me that upgrades are only available after 3 months of card issuance.. Confirmed this too.
So if you guys are planning to follow the same trick be aware. Thanks!

Yes it's been discontinued
You should have gone for Coral Rupay Card (UPI Card or something in imobile) which is available for almost everyone as LTF
Not for me bro. My Apay card is two years old 
I applied for Apay in hope to get LTF Platinum. When I asked them for upgrade to Platinum, they said that I'll have to wait for 3 months. I wasn't in a hurry so waited.
Contacting them after three months, I came to know that platinum has been discontinued.
Now I'm stuck with Apay, don't know how to get ICICI core cc for discount and offers
Expressions card works for instant discount bro but LTF is what matters 
why don't you take MakeMyTrip Platinum card as I mentioned above. It's LTF too and works for instant discount.

It doesn't work anymore. It is a hit n miss. Trick-> take expressions card n then deactivate it. Icici ll offer you free coral card to you.
Improve your salary. All cards will be LTF based on you income level. This is what I found.

UPDATE: After closing my Expressions card without activating, I got offers for pre approved Coral Rupay (Ltf), Hpcl Super Saver (500/-) and Rubyx (3000/-) Immediately applied for Coral and card started showing after 24 hours. So if anyone needs a core ltf ICICI card then they may follow the same route
1. Apply for Expressions card and close it without activating. You won't be charged for this.
2. You may possibly get ltf offer soon.
