And they are doing really well. Actually it is work of journalists to cover such stories. Infact I myself studying to do mushroom cultivation. Because of job, trading n other things, it is in a limbo state now. 
Yes it is a great foot forward! StartupIndia and Atmanirbhar initiatives has encouraged many people to start their own business even if it is at small scale, it will make a big difference tomorrow. People who lost jobs due to covid, started their own small business which is commendable.

some serious issues are there.
instead of giving jobs, many are doing fake job scams. whats app, naukri.com most favorite weapon by scammers.
now since past few months, some scholarship scams are growing. innocent students are getting trapped.
at other hand many showing fake certificates for getting genuine jobs. such issues have significantly grown.
we need skillful people but scamming is emerging as popular skill

People have become AtmaNirbhar and started selling Socks and Handkerchief on road and outside factories. Just I am not sure how much they actually earn😉. BJP didnot come to power through Jobs agenda, but due to religious politics. They will do that again. India still in top 3 in beef exporters though. 😡
