Whats left unsaid is how many jobs were provided by these people who were mostly small business owners of restaurants and shops and services and such who are now unable to even provide for themselves let alone others.. If its like the US then just under 10 mil people keep the country up, the rest are mostly poor or almost poor.. ie 90% of americans live on under $50k an year which is barely make do.. The middle class of over 50% which was like 15 mil or so are now down to half that much. India will soon join the US and lose half its middle class..
A year into the pandemic, the numbers of those in the middle class has shrunk to 66 million, down a third from a pre-pandemic estimate of 99 million, it added.
The Pew Centre estimated the number of poor people, with incomes of $2 or less each day, has gone up by 75 million as the recession brought by the virus has clawed back years of progress.

Didnt most of them leave the country already, seeing the shambles all around. I am sure, given a chance and means, even 80% of the hardcore BJ Party supporters (not the ones actually benefitting and enjoying from this blind support) would leave to a new zealand or a Canada or even a Dubai.

Will never be able to climb out again.. This is what they mean by have to break a few eggs to create an omelet.. I expect dislocation, what I dont like is selling out your friends and lying about what is going on. And then trying to blame the people and then again using them as a piggy bank.

Nation got shut down for months, what better to expect? I saw posts on how people didn’t buy from local stores, fired their maids etc because of covid fears. It was bound to happen. Whole world suffered from it.

and the plandemic is pushed by gates and imperial college who decimated the small farmers of the UK and helped big corps to take over.. and they are still flying blind over an year later with no hard data or logical plan other than if we lock up people it will all get better… Even though locking people up for months on end has not done much before..
people comment on poverty so convincingly as such they themselves were sons of beggar.
This is just amazing.. While only 28% of Americans make $100k per family per year.. 70% of Indians in the US make over $100k.. While this ratio drops drastically.. The average family income for Hispanics and Africans are under 50k and that is per family per year..
While majority of Indians work in the hitech or medical fields which saw the least downsizing as well.. So Indians as a whole were the least affected by economic downturns and such the world over..
