apart from the hardware part to make it last for 4-5yrs, its also equally important to get security updates especially if you are using banking apps/UPI etc .
For the 20k price range, you can get max 3yrs of security updates and 2 OS updates and only the flagships are launching with A15 and midrange and budget phones would come with A15 mostly by Feb-Mar only, also A16 is looking for a earlier release so my suggestion is if you can wait then get one with A15 around Feb-Mar so that you can get A17 and most importantly security updates till 2028 mid.
Plus manufacturers have started to realise that the higher charging speeds gimmick won't last long and are working on bigger battery capacities and you can expect 7000-7500mah as they are switching to silicon carbon ones that provides higher densities however with charging speeds are reduced, already phones with 6500mah are out now but are above 210g and might expect the weight to further slim down to 180-190g for 6000mah by next year BBD
If you are looking to purchase one asap or any upcoming sale in next 1-2 months then you will get A14 and max security updates till 2027 mid and battery around 5000-5500mah, some choices are;
1) iQoo Z9s - 20k for starting RAM/ROM config and during offer its 18k, decent camera and 5500mah battery
2) iQoo Z9s pro/Vivo T3 pro, 25k but sale time comes to 22k (2k over budget though)
3) Nothing 2a plus, again 22k during sale - mainly for OS
4) realme NARZO 70 Turbo 5G- 15-16k during sale
5) realme P2 Pro - 20k
Poco x6 pro 256 GB ufs 4.0, camera is decent. Nothing phone 2A if you can get it 20K. There is no reliable phones chla to chand tk nhi kuch saal tk. Go era of 2015~16 where phones can last even 10 years. I have Redmi 5A, note 4, note 5 all are still working condition just I don't use them now.
Any phone with having expandable memory slot? redmi note 13 pro doesnt have it
