SBI Credit card merged limit query

Respected dimers! I have a question about my SBI SimplySave RuPay credit card. It's pre-approved and comes with a first-year free offer. The card's limit will be combined with my existing card. If I use it for 11 months and decide to close it, Can I transfer it back to my old card for continued usage?

My experience with sbi cc team is not good.

SBI handles such queries differently, so no uniform policy,
I was denied transfer while many successfully did so.
Some even reported that SBI has stopped limit transfer
