RuPay CC for UPI Purpose

Dosts,
I tend to use Credit Cards wherever I can for obvious reasons, however one area where I cannot use normal Credit Cards is small vendors who only accept UPI. I have added SBI Cashback card in GPay which allows me to do UPI for a few vendors and hence I get 5% CB. For the rest of the UPI transactions where SBI Cashback cannot be used, will RuPay cards work?
If yes, I see a lot a banks offering RuPay LTF cards like Yesbank, ICICI... etc. Which will be the best card for this purpose?

Sbi cashback credit card are also available in rupay variant ???
Rupay CC on UPI used to work well in the beginning but as merchants are getting more and more aware, most of them are disabling it to avoid MDR and maybe some other charges as well. So you might come across a big shop who has it disabled, but then a tiny vendor where you would be able to pay, or vice-versa. It would totally depend on the merchant.
It is not worth the hype, but still definitely a must have. You will still be able to at least save a little more than paying directly from your savings account.
I've been using Axis IOCL which give 1% on all UPI transactions but since they've increased the annual fee waiver criteria from 50k to 3.5lc in a year, I cannot recommend it to anyone. I'm covered till July 2025, and would either try to convert it to LTF or close it then.
Another option is HDFC Tata Neu Plus or Infinity, which are the next best option in my opinion, but I haven't used it so can't share any in-depth experience.
There are a few more apps like Jupiter etc which gives 1-2% on UPI spends, see if someone's criteria and reward redemption process suits you. Or just get any LTF Rupay CC if you want to just experience it first before committing for the heavy usage-based ones.
Download super.money app (FK venture) for now and do any scan+pay to get 5% upto Rs.5/txn... enjoy till it lasts until you get a rupay CC... @smazumder
I recommend any LTF rupay CC for the convenience... these days every card is being devalued...
Super money apps gives bhart QR ?? Not following this. What's the benefit?
