Received SBI RuPay-JCB Platinum Contactless NCMC International Debit card

SBI Rupay JCB card working for amazon pay load offer.

Went to SBI branch and asked for Debit Card.
She asked to fill a form, I did the same and added "Please Issue Rupay Platinum “RPJ” as a Note in the form"
After looking at the note she was like how do u know it??
I told please select ‘RPJ’.
She gave me a look as if I am an insider to SBI and said Our branch is facing issues in selecting few cards, I will try to apply this card, I said if you cannot apply this apply RPE 😂
She was like ok ok..
She said I already have a Classic Master Card, and she is closing it.
She applied and received it after a week..
Generated ATM pin over internet Banking.
Tried to add Amazon with 20% discount yesterday, faced issue of staying on the same page.. will try next week..

SBI did not charge me anything till now..

I’ll visit my branch on Monday and ask for REP card. Today visited AXIS bank branch but denied me to issue RuPay card, their debit card form doesn’t even have RuPay option, only high variant cards to loot customers. I am goin to close AXIS account next month. In Jan they charged me annual fee for debit card which was expired in Feb and then in Feb issue me new high variant card and charged me again 500+gst as issuance charge…chor bank hai bhai.

Are you guys able to use Add Money offer in amazon today with SBI JCB Card?

Main bhi gaya tha ye Post padh kar to mere ko bola ki ye konsa card h jcb rupaya.
Phir bola thik h apply karts hu kah nhi sakta…..or 2 nahine baad Visa ka aaya or duplicate ATM Charge naam se 350 kaat liya…. Main gaya Bank to bole ki aapne apply kiya m bola mere ko JCB chayie khudai karne…..😜
Bola 1 lakh balance walo ko hi hum JCB dete hai….m bolo bhag yeha se
1 lakh maintains karo wo bhi 20% ke….

Yes. SBI JCB card & AU Card both working now on RuPay Platinum – AmazonPay Load Money offer.

Yesterday, we opened our account in the branch. When we asked them to provide Rupay Platinum card, they spurned our request by insisting that first receive the master variant card and then come to the branch again to get the Rupay Platinum card.

It is not that easy to get RuPay platinum. I visited two different SBI branch and submitted application, specifically mentioning to issue RuPay platinum domestic card (REP) but they are not able to issue as when they try to select platinum version it shows invalid account error. The lady really tried to help me and tried to select Platinum Domestic and then IOCL platinum but system not allowing to proceed

Has anybody been able to register this card on loungekey website? or use it for loungekey access? I keep getting an error that payment method is not valid.

I tried calling loungekey and they mentioned that the bank (SBI) need to activate this feature first. SBI CS has no clue 😄

I take that you were able to register the card on loungekey.

I have enabled international payment on onlinesbi for the card and it still is not getting recognized. I will wait till tomorrow for the systems to sync, and message SBI on twitter otherwise. Thanks again.

I see that you have been mentioning everywhere on this forum about the loungekey access for this card.

But I don’t see a single instance of a person confirming that this card comes with that benefit at all.

What is your source of information here? and how are you sure that this card includes loungekey?

However even for international lounges, Rupay based access (2x/year) and loungekey are two very different things.

I understand and agree about Rupay lounge access (given this is a platinum rupay card) but I couldn’t find any reference to loungekey access anywhere. 

This is supposed to be a feature of JCB but I don’t see this in writing anywhere on SBI site or notes-

I see that link and unfortunately, neither me nor anyone on this thread is able to register for that.

Makes me think that loungekey is not really available on this card.

It would be great to get loungekey given that is much wider accepted than rupay lounges and much fancier (and perhaps unlimited) options. But again, it is not us who decide this 😌

From this slide, it seems that the Rupay Lounge Program is quite limited for International Lounges.

It would be great to find if we can activate LoungeKey on this card which is allowed on most lounges internationally.

What is the code for SBI Platinum Rupay-Discover-Diners Club-Pulse International Card.

Also please provide information which card provide better International Lounge Access (In terms of Wider Acceptance), RPJ or Platinum Rupay-Discover-Diners Club-Pulse International Card.

Apart from RPJ, IRP and REP, is there any other Platinum Card available on Rupay?

Maybe if somebody has seen the screen of the SBI Clerk’s Computer and wrote the cards and card code?

I applied for this card yesterday by visiting branch and filling ATM application form and mentioning “Diamond” customer in front of Account number and “Upgrade to Rupay Platinum JCB. Code RPJ” at the top of the form. The clerk asked me if I wanted only this specific card and not Visa Platinum. I insisted on this card only. She said ok and asked me to leave. Today, in netbanking, in the “Track Debit Card” section, I could see Request accepted with reference number and Card number as “3356” with status not yet dispatched. Is this card 3356 a Rupay Platinum JCB ???

Received the card today. It is IOCL Rupay PLATINUM instead. I personally feel, Rupay Platinum DC is the cheapest way to access Domestic Lounge. I had swiped my wife’s HDFC Rupay Platinum DC number of times with 2 Rs. as access fees. What is the Lounge access fees in this SBI Rupay Platinum DC ? Also, Apart from Amazon pay Load money & Swiggy Friday, are ther any ongoing offers ?

I went to my SBI home branch to apply for this SBI RuPay-JCB Platinum Contactless NCMC International Debit card but they are being very stubborn and non-cooperative. They said since I already own 1 debit card - SBI Gold International Visa card, they won’t give me RuPay Platinum. I said there is no such rule about only 1 debit card and I am willing to pay charges but they just refused and said they will have to cancel my existing card then to issue me RuPay Platinum.

SBI Twitter’s support is also not co-operating and is useless, not understanding. Is there any other way to get this card? Should I try other SBI branches other than home branch?

Oh well, I have applied for this card today itself at the branch.

Will be officially joining the RPJ club soon, card issued, yet to deliver.

Oh wow! Just got my SBI JCB RuPlat DC delivered. Time to activate and redeem another... 😀
