But the actual question is when he last time consulted before making any decision..

Wasnt all that so obvious. BBC wasted so much resources to come to this conclusion. All the proofs and RTIs and evidences they have collected isnt anyway going to nudge the blind followers even a bit.

Modi ji’s 8 PM decisions are like charity. Not even his right cerebral hemisphere knows what his left hemisphere decided. Let alone the states, ministries, and minion public.

If he did not announce lockdown people ll be like Feku doesn’t know safety protocols. It’s not only India, entire world got shut down.
Some people ll be like OOO noo, pm didn’t consult. If consultation had failed and lockdown didn’t happen, people ld be like see PM killed these guys. Hats off to these people’s logic.

And if Modi didn’t consult, entire nation won’t just come to a stand still. Everything was well planned and was well executed. And that decision was a very good one. Media is biased.

Not every state of India has BJP govts. When Modi anounced lockdown at 8PM every Non BJP states also made their announcements.
Sources: Kerala https://www.newindianexpress.com/states/kerala/..., Odisha https://www.newindianexpress.com/states/odisha/..., Punjab https://www.thehindu.com/news/national/coronavi..., Chattisgarh https://www.dnaindia.com/india/report-covid-19-..., https://www.newindianexpress.com/states/tamil-n..., even Didi wali Paschim Bangal https://www.thehindu.com/news/national/west-ben... etc.

Supporters, opponents unanimously supported the decision and implemented it. President’s rule was not imposed. So, calling it an unplanned move is a false statement. When Mamta Banerjee, who opposes n criticizes Modi at every occasion, supported the move.
If we dig deeper we can definitely find supporting circulars and documents. Pray someone does that hardwork to seek the truth.
What people can’t accept is PM Modi’s leadership quality. When, our nation, whose citizens do rhe opposite of what they were told to do, stops after 8PM announcement.
If someone is studying on leadership knows that something happens unannounced. Good leaders take drastic measures. Corona didn’t say that please plan n I ll knock sharply at 10pm, 25th of March 2020.

Only logical question is, why didn’t govts implement this thing earlier like Korea, Singapore etc. That’s the logical question to be asked to Modi Govt.

Typical WhatsApp University Post smile
For how long, people will peddle fake news and project them as facts?

Non-BJP states supported the move, instead of criticizing it??
Is this a joke?
NDMA was invoked by the centre for the first time to impose National Lockdown. Under the act, states can frame their own rules, add more restrictions (based on centre’s guidelines) but they cannot disregard the mandatory guidelines (21-day National Lockdown) issued by the centre (Even when there’s a discrepancy w.r.t centre vs State declared Red/Orange/green Zones.. States couldn’t do anything about it)

Invoking NDMA,2005 is no different than President’s rule/Emergency

" Power bestowed by DM Act on Central Government and NDMA are extensive. The Central Government, irrespective of any law in force (including over-riding powers) can issue any directions to any authority anywhere in India to facilitate or assist in the disaster management (Ss 35, 62 and 72). Importantly, any such directions issued by Central Government and NDMA must necessarily be followed the Union Ministries, State Governments and State Disaster Management Authorities (Ss 18 (2) (b); 24(1); 36; 38(1); 38(2)(b); 39(a);39(d) etc.).

In order to achieve all these, the prime minister can exercise all powers of NDMA (S 6(3)). This ensures that there is adequate political and constitutional heft behind the decisions made.

The present national lockdown was imposed under DM Act as per Order dated 24-03-2020 of NDMA ‘to take measures for ensuring social distancing so as to prevent the spread of COVID 19’ (S 6(2)(i)). Additional guidelines were issued on the same day by the Ministry of Home Affairs, being the Ministry having administrative control of disaster management (S. 10(2)(l)). "

No one was unhappy with the lockdown decision. Why would they.. when they think the govt couldn’t foresee the disaster much earlier?
https://www.desidime.com/discussions/all-india-...
States opted for various restrictions from March 2nd week itself to control COVID-19. The centre could’ve opted for something similar to reduce the causalities. For one, the prime reason for initial COVID-19 surge “International Flights” could’ve been banned much earlier (even before select states restricted inter-state travel during March 2nd/3rd week) but that continued till March 22

March 18, 10PM – PM will address the nation on March 19, 8PM
March 19 ,8PM – Announces 1-day Janta Curfew on March 22 from 7am to 9M
March 24, 8PM – 21-Day National Lockdown

^ Very commendable measures by a worthless leader as if there’s no threat before March 19. He wanted all the credit to himself.. on how effective the lockdown could’ve been implemented but things didn’t go as planned
And the greatest measure to control corona.. “Thali bhajan @ 5PM, March 22”.. A good leader would’ve predicted the drastic consequences of such calls when there’s a serious threat knocking at the door. Even the blind followers of the PM started marching on streets banging thalis (Same happened w/ 9PM diyas)

And BTW.. in your own words smile

Everybody has forgotten the actual masterstroke of the dude. When people were already asking for appropriate measures to be taken, international flights to be restricted, sensible planned restrictions, and covid was already proving to be disastrous internationally, the same 8 PM guy was busy hosting Namaste Trump Mela. Directly causing so many positive cases, and indirectly causing much more by not restricting international travel.

The same people who were dancing in the trump event are now making grand claims of their leader (a world famous fact-checked liar, a jumlebaaz in his own party’s words, and a PM with a website dedicated to all the lies told by him) being so quick, effective and visionary. Isko bhakti nahi bolenge to kya bolenge?

Have people lost whatever bit of shame they have, whatever self respect they could have, by being such hypocrites, just so that their riot/murder accused leader can be absolved of all his mindlessness every now and then?

Mitron, I don’t need anyone for consultation. I have Bhakts and godi media to defend me if something goes wrong.

Anyways, hows my get-up?

In 2012, Modi was cleared of complicity in the violence by Special Investigation Team (SIT) appointed by the Supreme Court of India. The SIT also rejected claims that the state government had not done enough to prevent the riots. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2002_Gujarat_riot....

That too happened during UPA govt rule.

If one is declared innocent after proper investigation then there is nothing wrong/shame in accepting him as our PM. I honestly didn’t give vote to Modi in 2014. 🐒🐒🐒 But, I am really glad he won the election. Riot happened during his tenure but this also happened https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Godhra_train_burn....
