I have a very fundamental question – A peahen lays eggs, then how can get pregnant? By having sex or drinking tears or staring at the ankles or whatever!
If only a logic is desired 
– reproduction is a biological process that creates a new organism by combining the genetic material of two organisms. Each of two parent organisms contributes half of the offspring’s genetic makeup by creating haploid gametes.
In a nutshell – Peacock (or one of the two birds) contributes by it’s tears 
My fundamental question is why there are ‘Peacocks’ and ‘Peahens’, if only tears are required
