Need suggestions in chairs for WFH
I’m above 6 feet, have been using Nilkamal plastic chair until now, but no more now. Looking for your suggestions if you have any experiences using comfortable chairs. I can keep budget until 10k. It would be helpful to me if any have suggestions. Tagging some dimers. @androgame @guest_999 @Siddhartha07 @Ash @cadence @panchabhut @malikcool @bikidas2060 @Simbha3

Height adjustable, armrest adjustable. Best for WFH setup. I got one for my wife in May 2020. She uses it for 9-10 hrs a day.
No head-rest, might be a -ve point for some; rest all looks pretty great.
Check offline. Pretty good ones are around 4-5k.
Check out this brand chairs on flipkart, seems good.

- Arm rest should be thick not thin
.# back seat should be more than yout sboulder height or more
Wirth going and exploring offline market
Pepperfry also got some good chairs just their assembly fee sucks..
Transteel and featherlite are good options for ergonomic office chairs. So check your options.
I have one from transteel and few cousins and relatives got them too. Happy with the purchase so far.
We have featherlite at workplace. These are a tad bit expensive over transteel but well worth the extra money.
Thanks bro for your inputs. Can you send me the links which you bought? Will they be okay for my height?
This is the one that I use
Go for Featherlite Amaze. Bought it after a lots of research.
What did it amaze you that much to go with the featherlite Amaze after lot of research? My main concern is my height? Can you suggest me good model in featherlite that would suit me? @phoenix1386 @raghupro

I have kept this in my cart.

If you live in a Metro city, try Chairwale. They supply most of the offices there hence their rates are really good. Go for an ergonomic mesh mid/high back chair
Thanks for your inputs bro. Unfortunately I’m not living in Metro bro .
Check chairs from Ample Seating’s. I have bought the below one in March this year and I’m quite happy with it.
i will not comment regarding the chair but i want to say regarding the human body. i see chair as a support just like a stick is for a old man who can barely walk.
when we sit there are two muscle groups which get engaged. its the back muscles & abs+core muscles. so i suggest you to work on these muscles groups. when you do that you will not require a back support to sit. your tendency to sit will be drastically improved. your posture will be straight naturally without you being wanting to think to sit straight every time. even nilkamal plastic chair will be more than sufficient.
getting a super luxury ergonomic chair will only support your seating & will not strengthen your back & core muscles. this will make these muscles even more weaker with age. whereas exercises will help these muscles gain strength and makes your seating posture correct & straight without any support.
with all due respect sir I dont agree
with our 10-12 hrs sitting schedule our body tends to go in relax posture only and not straight sitting which is is bad for our body posture, if we needs to sit for long hours the most important thing is to include daily exercise in our schedule and along with that a good quality ergonomic chair is best
I am using this one for last 1 year. Pretty good chair with adjustable lumbar support. I was using Motion High Back earlier but this is a huge upgrade for another 4K.

We can order online and pay using Amazon Pay to get some additional savings.
how are gaming chairs compared to ergonomic chairs, ignoring the price difference?
If you're looking for a supportive and ergonomic chair that's ideal for working from home, I suggest taking a look at the Transteel brand. I advise considering the Fluid Lite Mid-Back Chair type in particular. During extended homework sessions, this chair's well-balanced support and comfort will increase your output and general well-being. Its mid-back shape offers proper lumbar support, encouraging good posture and reducing back pain. Keep in mind that while working from home, a supportive chair is essential for attention and reducing pain.
