Lockdown violators can be made to undergo RT-PCR tests: Bombay HC
The Aurangabad Bench of Bombay High Court has said that all those stepping out of their house should carry their Aadhar cards. The court has also observed that anybody found violating Covid-19 guidelines will be subjected to RT-PCR test.
Keeping in view the Covid-19 restrictions in place, the Bombay High Court on Monday said that people who step out of their houses, either on foot or on vehicles, except during the relaxation hours from 7 am to 11 am Monday to Friday, should carry their Aadhaar cards.
Those who fail to comply with the same can be booked by road traffic police for relevant criminal offences, the court said.
The Aurangabad division bench of Justice Ravindra V Ghuge and Justice BU Debadwar has clarified that even doctors, medical or paramedical staff are expected to carry their Aadhar cards.
The court also held that if any person violates the Covid-19 guidelines or directions, then they can be subjected to an instant RT-PCR test (used for detection of Covid) and the violators will also be expected to disclose their mobile number or landline number.
This order is to be implemented in 12 districts in the state which fall within the jurisdiction of the High Court’s Aurangabad Bench.

First, they should give proper treatment who are infected, rather than catching people and making them positive.

Lol, voluntary test ki report to aa nahi rahi hai
More restriction means more anxiety, then more rush, high transmission time 7am to 11am. High trp news for tv channels these rush hours, much risk for small business during these hours due to rush. High traffic. Everything is high. It will be better if it was like, area wise time slot for relaxation hours.
But who will bear the cost?
Isn’t it extra cost/burden on government/healthcare system
