Once the plan is ready …It may take years, even a decade to develop such infrastructure ( according to few bloggers .. need confirmation from civil engineers)
so breaking the Indus waters treaty right now is of no use for these three Rivers originating from Indian Mountains

It is a viable option for the future as majority of the Pakistani population lives near the coast unlike us but who knows which government will be in power and how the relationship between the neighbouring countries progress next couple of years

Idiots! How can they just stop natural flow of rivers? Rivers are for all. They are like nerve supply to entire earth. I hope now in mad lust of declaring Pakistan a terrorist nation, India khud terrorist nation naa ban jaaye.
Its just hollow words. I know its not possible to contain it. Apne per pe kulhari maarne jaisa hai. Haryana ke Paani se hi Yamuna bridge doob jaata hai, J&K ka Paani aur mila do toh Dilli ka Till-Lil-Lilli ho jaayega monsoon time mein. Seriously, these politicians say anything.. Rajasthan Canal was a drag on so many front, delayed, incomplete due to various environmental reasons. How can they just even say it. All money making scams

What I read today!
you are saying that they cant stop natural flow of water? There are many ways to stop natural flow and divert it and you are surprised!
In article itself it is mentioned where they want to use this water.

This would bring havoc for us. Remember the utharkhand floods, how locals made homes in the path of river, and they had to lose everything. Nature is not something u tinker with.

This would be another man made disaster.
it’s shame that govt n army to hide their inability putting millions at risk.
