I think you are confusing wallet limits with transaction limits. On wallets like PayU and Paytm, these are two very different things. Using PayU gateway, you can do a transaction of any amount (limited only by your DC/CC limit). You don’t necessarily need to load the money in wallet.

It’s possible that I missed to understand something properly in your queries. And if that’s the case, feel free to ask again.

I think that will be done as a direct payment via payu gateway if i am not wrong…

Will I be getting 1% discount (230 Rs.) or not? Thats what my query is because one of my txn failed on payu like 1 year back

As per the recent change in PayU’s policy with regards to the 1% default discount, you will indeed get that discount if you choose to save the card you are paying from. Once again, you don’t need to load the amount in the wallet in advance. But, yes, loading to wallet before a transaction is the other way to get the default 1% discount now. But, for transactions above 10K, this second option is unusable. So, simply save the card at the time of the transaction.

By the way, didn’t get your point behind mentioning the failed txn from a year ago. CC @myliferockkss

I wouldn’t risk 23k just for 1% discount … If direct dc payment is available then do that….

I dont remember exactly what was the issue but I was not getting any discount which I was supposed to get. It was like in 2014 end

Just checked from txn history. It was on Jan end worth 41500 rs from ebay @DealSeeker

I think you simply forgot to login to your PayU account back then.

This happened with many people when PayU had the option to pay directly via DC/CC at many merchants without the need to login. You see, the discount/cashback offers were only given when someone paid from their verified PayU accounts, not when they paid directly via a CC/DC without logging to their PayU account. From what I can see, PayU has now changed the interface and made the login mandatory. So, not getting the discount is not a possibility if you follow the rules of (1) saving the payment card, or (2) paying via money already loaded to wallet. After all, you will see the discount reflected in the payment page before you proceed to pay.

@nrkmca By the way, not every PayU merchant is eligible for the default discount. AFAIK, only PayUBiz merchants get the privilege of offering that 1% default discount to their customers. Anybody can setup a PayUMoney merchant account for free, but PayUBiz merchant accounts involve a large setup fee.

Hi..I need some help. I am unable to transfer amount from my FC wallet (around rs 1300) to my bank. It has been 9 days since I loaded the money. When I press “Withdraw to bank”, i can see both the bank accuonts that I added, but I cannot see any option to enter a withdrawal amount or a button to withdarw the amount…. can someone please guide / help what may be happening? I am also not able to add a new bank a/c since it says 2 a/c are already registered. Also, I am not able to delete any of these 2 a/c as well. Please help!! @DealSeeker @VaibhavJain

Try withdrawing from the desktop website opened on a PC. BTW, sometimes the Freecharge website does act up and doesn’t allow to delete linked payment cards or bank accounts. The simple solution is to retry after sometime or the next day.

I seem to hv made a mistake… Lost patience so transferred from FC to Payzapp, from there to oxi (didn’t know oxi free transfers had stopped). Then generated an rbl-prepaid visa card from oxi. Which all wallets can I add balance to with this prepaid card (pref to transfer back to bank) ?

FreeCharge you can load on web version, on App not supported for first time, once you save on web then on App also

Udio also accepting Amex cards now
