I am not able to buy amazon gift card through hdfc gyfter portal using hdfc dc. is anybodyelse facing this issue. I have to pay my insurance premium of 30k this month.

How much is the amount and when is ur policy due?
If the amount is not much u can try the Amazon GV buying option by using offers on Amz ICICI card, as normally u can get 50rs off on 750 + 2% cashback for the card.
If the amount is more or due date (30 days from original due date)..simply pay it on Amazon using Amz ICICI card .. u will get flat 2% back.

what is the issue you are facing ? if you are trying to pay with saved card , then try adding the card details again and pay.
