Dr Seuj Kumar Senapati, a doctor from Odisha, has gotten brutally thrashed by family members of a deceased COVID patient.

I have a friend, named as Dr Punyasloka Mohanty. As per him, the patient had urinary retention problems. So, before referring the patient, the doctor wanted to provide basic care catheterization. But the patient collapsed.

This thing is not limited to a particular region. When I was a kid, I used to live in an extremely remote area. There were only govt doctors. Many times I heard from parents my friends that “that doctor ate my mother’s head”. I was like how? Localites would explain, she was suffering from untreated brain malaria, etc etc.
Doctors are Gods. That philosophy is beautiful. They are human beings as well. There are good and bad people, everywhere. Please treat them humanly. Now after this bad experience, there is a high chance that the victim might want a transfer from that hospital. Now that is really really bad. Doctors and healthcare professionals are putting their lives on line to save us. They have a family too. They have a mom too. They also experience pain and they are very much susceptible to death, just like us. Such barbaric incidents have to be stopped. 🙏🙏🙏
